Protecting yourself on the internet isn’t a one-size-fits-all proposition. This project for Norton on Tom’s Guide hit on a variety of vulnerabilities that our readers need to pay attention to, from a digital security vacation checklist to a football-themed VPN explainer. My favorite aspect of the program? A series of three articles dealing with how to keep your child safe in a rapidly changing online world, geared toward elementary, middle and high school aged kids. In the age of cyberbullying, this aspect of the project was extremely meaningful and I was proud of the work the whole team did.
