While working for Framework Productions, I had to opportunity to explore the world of classical piano through the prism of some of the best pianists in the world. I wrote quite a bit of copy for several videos that played during the 60th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, but my favorites were Home of the Cliburn: Texas Christian University and bios for all the jurors adjudicating that year’s competition. It gave me insight into a world I had never seen before. When Marin Alsop was mentioned during Tár, I gasped.
